Where to begin - Absolutely stunning, fantastic, extremely comfortable, beautiful, brilliant location. Holwell Farmhouse is an absolute perfect spot for a large group of family and friends and has everything you could ever want to make such happy memories. Ollie is an absolute perfect host and nothing is too much trouble for him. We came here with family (some from the USA), to celebrate our daughter (and now Son in law’s wedding) and have had a brilliant time even though the weather has been poor, but was perfect for the wedding on Thursday 3rd August ‘23. So sad to be leaving, but will
hopefully be back sometime in the future.

The farm was beautifully appointed, great to have linens and towels, kitchen is fully equipped, everything you could need. We were 15 people, (7 children, 8 adults & 5 dogs). The farm met all our needs and was a total pleasure to stay in. Thank you - hopefully we’ll be back

Holwell is a beautifully restored old farmhouse with all the modern and luxury finishes that make it a great place for an event or holiday. Comfy sofas and beds, traditional fireplace with wood burner, fast Wi-Fi and strong hot showers all added to the relaxing week. Would highly recommend!

'We were so lucky to have such a wonderful, restful weekend at this beautiful house, in the stunning hills. We listened to the stags roaring last night! Brian's on site shooting and archery was awesome. Treasured memories for the little cousins, And the oldies. From the Gliddons, Baxsters, Moanacks & Murray's, oh and of-course the Asimakopoulosis - so relaxed we forgot they were here!'

We had an amazing stay at Howell farmhouse.
The farmhouse has been beautifully restored with lovely in keeping furnishings. The area is peaceful with country walks straight from the front door. Ollie was a great host. Easy communication and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for letting us stay X

Helena’s Hen Do
We had a wonderful stay in Howell Farmhouse. The farmhouse had everything that we could want for comfort. Such a lot of thought has been given to everything. The kitchen has been great for big family meals. The children have enjoyed ping-pong, badminton, croquet, and of course the hot tub. We all appreciated the beautiful walk up the hill behind the farmhouse. We were also blown away by the beauty of the local area. We had no idea that Bampton would be such a perfect village to have on the doorstep. There were so many at walks and cycle routes within a few miles of where we were. We loved the Exe Valley, Knightshayes, the river batherm, Dulverton and Wimbleball Lake - Thank you!
The Milfords
We have had a wonderful weekend and what a lovely surprise for my 80th birthday! The farmhouse is beautifully appointed and everybody, including the two dogs thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The walk into Bampton up the hill and across the fields was enjoyed by all. We also went to Tarr Steps. The walk along the riverbank was very pretty. The lunch at Tarr farm was very good and we even managed to sit outside. Thank you Ollie for all of the goodies you left us. I'm sure we will be back.
